Charles Michael Yim is a seasoned serial entrepreneur and angel investor from Silicon Valley with 2 successful exits and has raised $1 Billion to date for ventures he’s been involved with. He’s passionate about inventing and building innovative consumer-focused companies through his venture studio Sync.VC that spans technology, health, and wellness, CPG, and crypto.

Charles is best known for being a Reality TV Star on ABC’s Emmy Award-winning show Shark Tank where he convinced all 5 celebrity investors including Mark Cuban to invest $1M together into Breathometer. Charles then placed 1st out of 10,000 startups in Sir Richard Branson’s Xtreme Tech Challenge competition earning a direct investment.

Charles has authored multiple patents in design and utility for breath analysis and is currently writing his first book on entrepreneurship which is being published by McGraw-Hill. Charles graduated with a B.S. in Business Economics from UC Riverside and from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
